Great News!

I have just received word that the first printing of "Thailand Fever"
rolled off the presses this morning!

For those of you who pre-ordered, your copies should ship out
of our Bangkok or Berkeley, CA, USA warehouse no later than
December 20th.

Many thanks to those who have already purchased!

I just spoke with my girlfriend in Bangkok (10 Dec 04) and she says she just got her copy of Thailand Fever. I told her to read it this weekend so that she can attempt to understand this crazy farang. Can't wait to get my copy in the mail soon, too!

I am in the middle of a LTGF situation who was been out of the bar for a years. She has turned out to be a wonderful and honest person. We have had some real tensions about sending extra money to all of her friends and family that keep getting in debt. I am a teacher and not rich so I have been sending 10kb a month and flatly refusing extra requests.

I am learning so much and this book is hard but down. I am also reading Army at Dawn about Operation Torch (Allied invasion of North Africa in 1942 and how the US Army went from a pathetic second-rate army to first class fighting machine in months.
